ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ಇ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಿ.ವಿ.ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಂಘವು 2024-25 ರ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಶನಿವಾರ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, “ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಸಾಧನೆ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಎ. ರುಕ್ಮಿಣಿ ಅವರು, ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆಯು ಪುರುಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು, ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ತತ್ವವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಜೀವನದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ (ಡಾ.) ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಜಿ. ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಕೀಲರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್‌ಗಳಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರುಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ನಡುವಿನ ತಡೆಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಾರತಮ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶವು ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ಯತೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಎರಡನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಲ್‌ಎಲ್‌ಬಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಗಿರಿರಾಜ ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಡಾ. ಸುಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. III ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಲ್‌ಎಲ್‌ಬಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾ ದೊಡ್ಡಮನಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ತನುಜಾ ಕೊರಾಜ್‌ಕರ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಲ್ ಎಲ್ ಬಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ಲಿಂಗದಳ್ಳಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೋಧಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
International Women’s Day 2024-2025
On Saturday, 8th March 2025, the Ladies Association of K.L.E. Society’s B.V.Bellad Law College, Belagavi celebrated the International Women’s Day 2024-25 in College. On the occasion, a Special lecture was organized on the topic “Women Empowerment & Attainment of Equality in India”. The Chief Guest of the function was Smt. A. Rukhmini, Police Sub Inspector, Camp Police Station Belagavi City. Smt. (Dr.) Jyoti G. Hiremath, Principal of the college presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest enlightened the students by stressing on hardwork, dedication & commitment, which will lead them to reach their goal. Gender Equality is the principle that men & women have equal rights, opportunities and responsibilities in all aspects of life. The Chief Guest said that being the student of law all should share the responsibilities in all walks of life & serve the society.
The President of the function, Smt. (Dr.) Jyoti G. Hiremath said, Lawyers being social engineers it becomes the duty of each one of us to serve the society. We should remove the barrier of men and women in the society & all should work without any discrimination. Equal opportunity is a state of fairness in which all individuals should be treated similarly without any prejudices & preferences. It is within us to shape ourselves.
The function began with an invocation song by Mr. Giriraj Hiremath, II year LL.B., Dr. Supriya Swami, Asst. Prof., welcomed the gathering and Miss. Sneha Doddamani, III year LL.B introduced the Chief Guest. Miss Tanuja Korajkar, Asst. Professor proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compeered by, Miss. Nivedita Lingadalli, I year LL.B.
All the Teaching and Non-teaching staff members were present on the occasion.
