ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಜನನಾಯಕಿಯ ಸಮಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೆ

ಸ್ವತಃ ವೈದ್ಯೆ ಆಗಿರುವ ಖಾನಾಪುರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕಿ ಡಾ.ಅಂಜಲಿ ನಿಂಬಾಳ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ತಾವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿನ ಅಂಚಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ತುರ್ತು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಇದೀಗ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಲ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ವೇಳೆ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಜನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಈ ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕಿ ನಾನು ತೋರಿಕೆಯ ನಾಯಕಿಯಲ್ಲ, ನೈಜ ಜನನಾಯಕಿ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಡಾ. ಅಂಜಲಿ ನಿಂಬಾಳ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಸಮಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಇದೀಗ ನಾಡದೊರೆಯೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಟ್ವಿಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಪಾರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ :

ಗೋವಾದಿಂದ ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಇಂಡಿಗೋ ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿನ ಸಮೀಪ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ವಿಮಾನ ಹೊರಟ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯಾರೋ ಸಹಾಯ ಎಂದು ಕಿರುಚಿದರು, ಅವಳು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ತಪ್ಪಿದಳು. ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಆಸನದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದೆ, ನಾನು 34 ವರ್ಷದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳ ಬಳಿ ನಿಂತು, ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೆ, ದುರ್ಬಲ ನಾಡಿಮಿಡಿತ, ಆಳವಾದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶೀತ.

ಸೀಟಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಪಿಆರ್ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದೆ, ಕೆಲವು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವಳು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ವಿವರವಾದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಅವಳು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ನೋವು ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನೆಯಿಂದ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು ಮತ್ತು ಟೇಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಆಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರೋಲೈಟ್ಸ್ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದ ನಂತರ ಅವಳು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಆಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಉಸಿರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

ಆದರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಅವಳ ತಂಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್, ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹುಷಾರಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಹೋದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಬಡಿತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಅವಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ತಣ್ಣಗಾಗಿದ್ದಳು, ಮಸುಕಾಗಿದ್ದಳು, ನೀಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಭಾವನೆ. ನಾನು ಕುರ್ಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಕಿರುಚಿದೆ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಆಸನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತೆ IV ಲೈನ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಸಹಾಯಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು, ಸೆಟ್ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ನಾಡಿಮಿಡಿತವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ಕಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಪಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಬಹುತೇಕ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ ಹೋಸ್ಟೆಸ್ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್‌ಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮಯ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಗಂಟೆ ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ನಾನು ಗಾಬರಿಗೊಂಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಇಳಿಯುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪವಾಡಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

ಸುಮಾರು 15-20 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದವು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಬೆಚ್ಚಗಿದ್ದಳು, ನಾಡಿಮಿಡಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಪಿ 90/60 ನೊಂದಿಗೆ.

ಇಡೀ ವಿಮಾನವು ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡರಿಂದ ಎರಡೂವರೆ ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅವಳ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ವಿಮಾನವು ಬೇಗನೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಉಸಿರಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ.

ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ, ಏರ್ ಹೋಸ್ಟೆಸ್‌ಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಟರ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಫ್ಲೈಟ್ ಅಟೆಂಡೆಂಟ್‌ಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಲಾದಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಮಾನದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದಷ್ಟು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ನಮಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಬೈ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕರ ಅನುಭವವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವಳು ಈಗ ಉತ್ತಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ.

ಜೆನ್ನಿಯ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗೋವಾದಿಂದ ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 6E 2091 ಇಂಡಿಗೊ ವಿಮಾನದ ಪೈಲಟ್‌ಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಹೇಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಜೆನ್ನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ಅವಳು ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾದವಳು ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಮಾವಂದಿರು ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಅವಳ ಅತ್ತೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಕೂಡ ಡಾ. ಅಂಜಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗತಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ಹೌದು. ಘೋಷ್ ಎಂತಹ ಕಾಕತಾಳೀಯ.

ಗೋವಾ-ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ ನಡುವಿನ ವಿಮಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ವೇಳೆ ಖಾನಾಪುರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕಿಯಾದ ಡಾ.ಅಂಜಲಿ ನಿಂಬಾಳ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ತುರ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು, ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸಿಪಿಆರ್ ನೀಡಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಉಳಿಸಿದ ವಿಚಾರ ಕೇಳಿ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯೆನಿಸಿತು. ವೈದ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತಿ ತೊರೆದು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದ ಅಂಜಲಿಯವರ ಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಯಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ.

ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರಲಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿರಲಿ ಜನಸೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಾಪೇಕ್ಷೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಲಾದ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಅಂಜಲಿಯಂತವರು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾದರಿ. ನೂರುಕಾಲ ಅಂಜಲಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಆಯಸ್ಸು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ನೀಡಿ, ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜೀವಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ನೆರವು ಸಿಗುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಭಗವಂತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Today while travelling from Goa to Delhi on indigo flight experienced a near death medical emergency on Air.

As soon as the flight took off, I closed my eyes and was taking my power nap and some one from behind screamed HELP she fell unconscious. Instantly I got up from my seat even before realising what to do, I was standing near a 34yr old girl falling from her seat unconscious, feeble pulse, cold extremities responding only to deep touch.
Tried giving her CPR in the seat only, after few mins she gained consciousness and was able to talk. Took detailed medical history upon which she said she had stomach upset and not had anything since yesterday and had taken tablets just before taking off. Immediately gave her electrolytes water and after some time I thought she is fine and so went back to my seat and took a deep breath and thanked god.

But within no time her sister came back again to me and said Doctor she is not feeling well so I again went back to check on her and at this time I skipped my heart beat , She was again cold, pale, cyanosed not able to talk and I almost thought she will not be able to make it and Oh God I lost her was my feeling. I screamed loudly to vacate the chairs made her to sleep on the seats and again feeling helpless with no IV line, set started resuscitating her with hardly feeling her pulse and almost not able to record the BP. At this moment asked the air hostess How much time for landing and she said one and half hour. I panicked and thought I will loose her by the time we land. But miracles do happen.
Almost after 15-20 mins later our efforts starting giving results and she was warm, with pulse and BP of 90/60.
Started hydrating her again with electrolytes water.

The whole flight almost two to two and half hour stood besides her with the hope that the flight lands at the earliest and she keeps breathing.
In the mean time told the air hostess to arrange for ambulance at the turmac with the doctor. All the flight attendants did their best and helped me during the flight to best that they can do.

We got priority landing and the ambulance was waiting for her to take to the hospital. Saying her bye in the ambulance was the most relieving experience as with the hope that she is in good hands now.

I really want to to thank the Staff, Pilot of 6E 2091 Indigo flight from Goa to Delhi for helping me to save Jennys life.

While talking to Jenny she mentioned she belonged to California and that her in laws stay in Delhi. Her mother-in-laws name is also Dr. Anjali & she is also a Gynaecologist. Ghosh what a coincidence.
